ALI BEDNI BUGYAL TREK
[ 5 Night/ 6 Days (Ex-Rishikesh) ]
Hiking in the Himalayas is not always about climbing high peaks or reaching the high passes it is about witnessing every element of the mountains. Amongst that is the never-ending eye-soothing greenery. Ali Bedni Bugyal as you might have guessed with the name is an epitome of meadows with stupendous Himalayan peaks standing tall in the background. The hike is a pleasant walk through the grasslands with cattle grazing, birds chirping, and tiny flowers magnifying the elegance. The wonderful six day journey commences from Lohajung (popular for Roopkund Trek) and ends at the Wan Village.
Day 1: Rishikesh to Lohajung (250 km, 9-10 hours)
- Start at 6:45 AM, driving through scenic towns like Devprayag, Srinagar, Rudraprayag, Karnprayag, and Dewal.
- Arrive in Lohajung by evening, stay in a guesthouse, and have dinner.
Day 2: Lohajung to Didina Village (5 km drive, 6 km trek)
- Begin with a 5 km drive to Kuling, followed by a 6 km trek to Didina Village via Neel Ganga River.
- Arrive by lunchtime, relax, and stay overnight in homestays.
Day 3: Didina to Ali Bugyal (8 km trek)
- Trek 6-7 hours through changing landscapes and oak forests to reach Ali Bugyal.
- Enjoy lunch at Tolpani and camp overnight at Ali Bugyal.
Day 4: Ali Bugyal to Bedni Bugyal and back (4+4 km trek)
- Trek to Bedni Bugyal for stunning views of Mt. Trishul and Mt. Nanda Ghunti.
- Return to Ali Bugyal campsite and stay overnight.
Day 5: Ali Bugyal to Lohajung via Wan (11 km trek, 13 km drive)
- Descend 11 km to Wan Village, then drive 13 km to Lohajung.
- Arrive by evening, stay overnight in a guesthouse.
Day 6: Lohajung to Rishikesh (250 km, 9-10 hours)
- Drive back to Rishikesh, concluding the trek.
- Enjoy the final scenic views and cherish the memories.
INCLUSIONS:
Accommodation: 2 nights accommodation in Hotel/Guest house in Double/triple
sharing.
Tent: 3 nights accommodation in tents in Double/triple Sharing
• Transportation: from Rishikesh to Lohajung and back to Rishikesh.
• Meals: from Dinner on Day 1st to breakfast on Day 6th, all meals are included.
We offer healthy, nutritious, and vegetarian food on all days of the trek.
• Camping fee: Both trekking permits and woodland camping fees are included
in the price.
• Mountaineering qualified and experienced Trek Leader.
• Mules and Porters to carry central equipments.
• Experience guide, cook, helper, and porter.
• First aid kit with oximeter and oxygen cylinder.
EXCLUSIONS:
Anything that has not been mentioned in the inclusions mentioned above.
• Meals during Transit- Any lunch and other meals not mentioned in package
inclusions.
• Any additional expenses such as of personal nature/excursions/medical
exigency not mentioned in the inclusions.
• Mules or porters to carry the Personal bags.
• Travel Insurance.
• Extended stay or travelling due to any reason.
BASIC GEARS:
• 45 to 50 liters trekking bagpack with raincover and comfortable straps.
• 20 ltrs day backpack with raincover.
• Bring 2 water bottles: 1 regular and 1 milton/borosil bottle to keep hot water
during the night.
• Snacks: Energy bars, dry fruits and ORS Sachets.
• Personal Medical kit (Consult your doctor).
CLOTHING:
• Tiffin Box
• 1 full fleece T-Shirt
• At least 3/4 full sleves (Non-Cotton)
• 1 fleece jacket woollen or sweater.
• 1 down feather jacket
• Waterproof jacket/poncho.
• Thermal inners (upper and lower)
• 2 Trek pants.
• 1 pair of waterproof gloves and 1 pair of woollen gloves.
• 1 head torch/torch.
• 1 sun cap and 1 woollen cap.
• 2 buff neck gaiters.
• 1 sunglasses (UV protected)
• 1 pair of trekking shoes with high ankle and good grip.
• 1 pair of floaters.
• 4 pair of cotton socks and 1 pair of woollen socks.
• Sunscreen, Hand Sanitizers, moisturiser, Antibacterial powder and lip balm.
• Quick dry towel.
• Personal Toiletries (Toilet paper/wet wipes)

- No refunds for unused services due to unforeseen circumstances.
Accommodation Changes:
- Reserved accommodation may change due to unforeseen circumstances.
Vehicle Breakdown:
- Alternate vehicle provided in case of breakdown; no compensation for lost time, missed meals, or missed events.
No-show and Early Check-out:
- Non-refundable for no-shows; early check-out incurs a one-night room charge plus taxes.
Government Orders and Other Issues:
- No refunds for issues caused by government orders, strikes, weather, protests, or landslides.
- Backup plans are usually available, but some activities may be canceled due to uncontrollable circumstances.
