The Valley of Flowers National Park in Chamoli district, Uttarakhand, is a stunning destination with a backdrop of the mighty Himalayan ranges. Spanning 87 square kilometers, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is part of the Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve. The park blooms with over 600 species of exotic flowers, including orchids, poppies, primulas, marigolds, daisies, and anemones, creating a breathtaking display of nature's beauty. The sub-alpine forests of birch and rhododendron add to the park's charm.

At an altitude of around 3,600 meters, the valley is also home to rare wildlife such as the gray langur, flying squirrel, Himalayan weasel, black bear, red fox, lime butterfly, snow leopard, and Himalayan monal. The trek to the valley, which reaches up to 14,400 feet, is rated as moderate, primarily due to the length of the trekking days. The journey offers captivating sights of cascading waterfalls and wild streams, making it an unforgettable experience for visitors.
